Getting Started with IMCN

Downloading and Installing IMCN
The IMCN app is available for iOS and Android devices. You can download it directly from device App Store.
- Open the App Store on your mobile device.
- In the search bar, type "IMCN" and search.
- Locate the app named "IMCN" by typing "IMCN" in the search bar.
- Tap on the app listing.
- Tap the "Install" button to download and install the app on your device.
Creating Your IMCN Account (Sign Up)
Once the app is installed, you will need to create an account to access its features. The registration process is straightforward:
- Open the IMCN app on your device.
- You will likely be presented with a login screen. Look for a "Sign Up" or "Don't have an Account? Sign Up" option.
- On the Sign Up screen, you will be required to provide the following information:
- Full Name: Use your real name or a display name you wish to use.
- Username: A unique username that will identify you on the platform.t starts with an "@"
- Email: A valid email address for account verification and communication.
- Password: A secure password for your account.
- Confirm Password: Re-enter your chosen password to ensure accuracy.
- After filling in all the required fields, tap the "Sign Up" button to create your account.
- You will receive an email, to verify your email address, click the link in the email.
Upon successful email validation, you can now login to your account using your email and password you've created.

If you already have an IMCN account, you can log in using your credentials:
- Open the IMCN app.
- On the login screen, enter the Email and Password associated with your account. (Refer to the provided screenshot of the Login screen for a visual guide.)

Continuing as a Guest
The login screen also presents an option to "Continue as Guest." Understanding Your IMCN Profile

Accessing and Editing Your Profile
To access your profile tap on your profile picture at the top left corner of the app home screen and the drawer will appear select Profile. Once on your profile page, tap "Edit Profile" to update your information.

The following information on your profile appears to any one visiting your profile including to anonymous guests:
- Profile Picture: A visual representation of yourself.
- Cover Photo: A larger banner image for your profile.
- Bio A short description of yourself, your interests, or what you hope to share/gain from the community.

It is important to be mindful of the information you share publicly. IMCN provides different levels of visibility based on your relationship with other users (Followers vs. Connections).
Information You Can Share Privatively With Connected Users
The following information on your profile only appears to Connected users:

- Social Media Links: Links to your profiles on other platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram).
Keep in mind, connected users are users that you know well and trust to share personal information with like your phone number and email.
Followers vs. Connections: Understanding the Difference
IMCN offers two primary ways to establish a relationship with other users: Following and Connecting with a user. Each relationship offers different features
Following a User
- You can choose to follow any other user on IMCN without needing their permission.
- When you follow a user, their posts will appear in your main timeline or feed.
- This is a one-way relationship initially; the user you follow does not automatically see more of your information or follow you back unless they choose to.
Connecting with a User
- Connecting is a mutual relationship that requires the user to accept the connection request.
- Once you are connected with another user, both sides gain access to personal information that they have chosen to share with connected users
- Connected users essentially have a deeper level of information sharing and signify a personal connection between each other
This distinction allows users to control the privacy of their more sensitive personal information, sharing it only with users they have mutually agreed to connect with, while still allowing broader visibility for their posts through the follower system.

- Can post up to 3000 charterer in a single post
- Can post 4 image per post

The monthly membership fee for Verified users is $5 a month billed annually

Trust Badges are a unique feature within IMCN designed to help the community recognize users with exceptional knowledge about Islam and the Quran.
- Purpose: When a user gives an Trust Badge to another, they are essentially vouching for that user's knowledge about Islam and the Quran.
- How to Give an Trust Badge:
- To give an Trust Badge, you navigate to the profile of the paid user you wish to Trust.
- On their profile page, you will find an "Trust Badge" button.
- Tapping this button will initiate the process of giving them a badge.
- Point Transfer: Giving an Trust Badge involves a transfer of points. When a paid user gives an Trust Badge to another paid user, one point is automatically transferred from the giver"s IMCN Wallet to the wallet of the badge recipient.
- No Explicit Limits (Points-Based): Users can give as many Trust Badges as they have points available in their wallet to cover the 1-point transfer for each badge given. There are no specified daily or weekly limits beyond your point balance.
- Identifying Influencers: The accumulation of Trust Badges is a key factor in being recognized as a Muslim Influencer (MI). A user with multiple Trust Badges is implied to be trusted and respected by the community.

- 3 Points remains with the Network and can be earned by other users.
- Purpose: My IMCN Score holds your accumulated points, which can be earned, spent, and transferred within the app.
